A Case Series of Fetal-Neonatal Ovarian Cyst from a Tertiary Care Hospital

Abstract The occurrence of ovarian cyst in the neonate is rare and antenatally diagnosed by ultrasonography. This study aims to increase awareness about its histological features. We performed a retrospective review on 10 cases neonatal (NOC) during 4 years (2016–2020) tertiary care center South India. neonates were with abdominal cysts antenatal ultrasonogram third trimester. They operated from day 5 35 days age. There was no side predilection, most them unilateral (9 out cases). Histopathological examination showed simple (50%), serous cystadenomas (20%), viable lining follicular (10%) 90% had torsion-induced changes. pathologist clinician should be aware histology NOC cases.
